FDP Mission Statement

The Franciscans of Divine Providence,
is a diverse, faith-filled, canonical religious Order of Catholic men and women
of the Trinitarian Catholic Church who, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Gospels, worship the Father by imitating the Son, in the manner of Saint Francis of Assisi. Our Mission Statement complies with the Canons, Statutes and Mission Statement of the Trinitarian Catholic Church.
We
embrace all of God's people, without discrimination, by evangelizing through the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. By our daily commitment to proclaim the living Gospel in both word and deed, we strive to shine with the love of Christ.
We
experience the prophetic mission of Christ:
+ By striving to walk in the footsteps of
Jesus Christ + By
living visibly Catholic lives in an increasingly secular world + By telling everyone about the love of God + By becoming self-less servants to the people of God in our midst + By allowing the Holy Spirit to convert us into instruments of God's peace + By working together to help fulfill the mission of St. Francis and our Order

We follow Christ’s example of priestly dignity:
+ By gathering together as a Franciscan family in Christ’s name + By choosing to fully participate as an active member of the
Universal, mystical body of Christ + By preaching the Good News not
only in words but mostly through the actions of our lives + By striving to live our lives in the spirit of the Evangelical Councils according to the example of Jesus Christ and Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi + By joining with the
Universal Church in daily prayer, devotion and worship + By respecting and protecting the
rights and the dignity of all of God's people and all His creation
