The Franciscans of Divine Providence
 

        Founded in 1995, our Franciscan family is one among many Independent Catholic religious Orders raised up by the Holy Spirit within the Universal Church, for the purpose of repairing the early spirit of the Catholic faith, through unity and ecumenism among the people of God. Our clergy and laity are called to follow the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, in the footsteps of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi.

        Christ calls us to follow this "way" so that He may send us, like Francis and Clare, to offer all that we have and all that we are. We shall strive to be living witnesses among all people of faith to the great truth that in Christ "there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles, between slaves and freemen, between men and women" (Galatians 3:28); that there are no barriers of race, gender, nations, age, socio-economic status, sexual or affectional orientation in God's family. There is only the One, All-loving Creator, the Divine Redeemer, the one fellowship in the All-Wonderful Comforter.
